Weekend: Sushi, Disneyland, California Adventure.
1. Friday-Racing to get out of work. My sister's 30th b-day was Sunday so my brother in law had a whole weekend event planned. My sister's good friend was flown from San Francisco and everybody had told her we had plans for friday. She was really surprised to see us at the sushi resturant. After eating a ton of guppies, we went to the house to open gifts and later play tennis & bowling on the wii.

2. Saturday-We went to Disneyland and rode Space Mtn, Indiana Jones (2), Pirates Of the Caribbean (3), Haunted Mansion (3), Matterhorn (2), Big Thunder Mtn, and Buzz Lightyear (2). Food: lunch I had a bacon cheeseburger from the Tomorrowland Terrace-pretty good and filling. Dinner I had the Roast Beef Royale at the French Market at New Orleans square-very good and filling. We did a ton of walking and my feet were thumping after a day of running around. Notable closure around the park for upgrades...the biggest was Peter Pan.

3. Sunday-Had breakfast at the La Brea Bakery. I had the salmon platter which was excellent. We went to California Adventure. It was my first for all of us. We rode the Hollywood Tower Of Terror.Thumbs up. Great ride. Dig the work that went into the atmosphere while you were waiting in line. If you never been, there's a ton of Twilight Zone show reference all over the place. The other great ride of the park that I got to check out was The California Screamer roller coaster. Quite excellent. There's many upgrades in the works at Ca Adv. Overall the place looks cool, but I have to agree that the Disney feel of the other park is missing and I dig the Hollywood Backlot area has a lot of references to cool historic places in L.A., but the real deal is only a drive away from me. I'm psyched to see the upgrades.
